Our business model, in one paragraph.
SSECPL generates revenue by supplying industrial equipment integrated with its digital service platform, by providing platform-based service contracts (AMC, breakdown, preventive maintenance) delivered through Care and Field, and — over the roadmap horizon — by providing connected-equipment subscriptions that include operating-hour monitoring, maintenance alerts and remote diagnostics. The platform itself may in future be extended to third-party original equipment manufacturers who wish to offer digital service to their own installed base.
Why SSECPL is a startup and not a re-badge.
DPIIT recognition, and the Startup India framework, require that a startup work toward innovation, development or improvement of products or services, or a scalable business model with a high potential of employment or wealth creation. SSECPL meets this test by:
- Introducing a customer-facing mobile service platform (SSEC Care) that does not exist in most Indian industrial equipment segments today.
- Introducing a field workforce platform (SSEC Field) that digitises service execution end-to-end.
- Building a cloud service backbone that will support IoT connectivity, predictive maintenance and AI-assisted diagnostics.
- Attaching a digital identity to every machine so that equipment records, documentation and service history live in one place for the life of the machine.
SSECPL is a new legal entity with a distinct technology-led operating model. Its team brings relevant engineering experience from the earlier SSEC business, which is disclosed as domain expertise rather than presented as the startup's incorporation history.
